For New Years this year we decided to head to Flagstaff for a few days. Last year, we drove through for an evening during our trip to Texas and decided to head back to enjoy it some more.

First, it was freezing! I mean Vegas in December is cold but Flagstaff is cold and icy. Christian was really excited about playing in the snow, so the first thing we did was hit the snow and let him run some of his road trip kinks out.

The rest of the day was a blur, haha.

The next day we wanted to go to the observatory but unfortunately it was closed due to the holiday. So we decided to go bowling instead.

Christian loved it at first, then he got bored pretty easily. Luckily they have a little arcade, he loved that and played games for about thirty minutes. We made use of that place and went back a few times.

We found this super cute restaurant called The Toasted Owl, check it out next time you go. All of their furniture and decor was vintage and owl themed, their service was amazing too. They were patient and really nice to Christian. I loved it.

The rest of the trip we drove around, walked through downtown and just enjoyed the slow pace.

Above I mentioned how freezing it was ... here is a picture I took while driving around. It was beautiful.
