little bit about us

First off ... I am really excited about our blog. We're adventurers, we love to camp, we love to be outdoors and our son loves it even more. My name is Sam, my husband is Chris and our son is Christian.

I'm a stay-at-home mom, that's my full-time job. I love it and some days it's VERY tough ... well I take that back, most days are tough. My husband is a firefighter and his schedule is what allows us to do the things we love most. Our son Christian is three and a half. He is non-stop and loves to explore.

Last year we went on a two week vacation to see family and explore the west. We took off in the FJ cruiser, stopping in Lake Tahoe, Crater Lake and ending up in Portland Oregon. This trip was amazing. We had the time of our lives. It was hard to come home.

That trip was just one of our adventures. We've done more, and have many more planned in the future.
